GutBrainA is operated by Mangawhai Natural Health, New Zealand, and was created by Clare Seagrave, Clinical Holistic Nutritionist and Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist.
These Terms & Conditions apply when you access the GutBrainA website, purchase or subscribe to a GutBrainA membership, participate in a GutBrainA programme, or use any GutBrainA audio, video, written or digital resources.
By purchasing, subscribing to or using GutBrainA, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About GutBrainA
GutBrainA is a Gut-Directed Hypnotherapy programme designed to support people experiencing Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and digestive symptoms through Gut-Directed Hypnotherapy, relaxation, therapeutic imagery and educational resources.
The core GutBrainA programme is structured as an 8-week programme, with ongoing access to resources available according to the membership or service purchased.
GutBrainA is not intended to replace appropriate medical assessment, diagnosis or treatment.

2. Membership Options
GutBrainA offers membership options which may include:
Monthly Membership – an automatically renewing monthly subscription.
Annual Membership – a 12-month membership which automatically renews annually unless cancelled before the next renewal.
We may also offer separate programmes, workshops, live programmes, 1:1 services or other GutBrainA products from time to time.
The price and inclusions applicable to your purchase will be displayed at the time of purchase.
3. Payments
Membership fees are charged using the payment method provided at checkout.
For monthly memberships, payment will be taken when you subscribe and approximately monthly thereafter until cancelled.
For annual memberships, payment will be taken when you subscribe and approximately annually thereafter until cancelled.
You are responsible for ensuring your payment information remains current and that sufficient funds are available for recurring payments.
Prices will be displayed at checkout, including the applicable currency.
4. Automatic Renewal
GutBrainA Monthly and Annual Memberships automatically renew unless cancelled.
By purchasing a recurring membership, you authorise the applicable membership fee to be charged to your nominated payment method at each renewal.
You can cancel your membership before your next renewal if you do not wish to continue.
5. Cancelling Your Membership
You may cancel your GutBrainA membership at any time.
Cancellation stops future renewal payments but does not normally result in an immediate loss of access.
You will generally retain access to GutBrainA until the end of the membership period you have already paid for.
After that period ends, your membership access will cease unless you resubscribe.

6. Refunds
Refunds are handled in accordance with the GutBrainA Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable New Zealand consumer law.
A change of mind, failure to use the programme or failure to complete the programme does not automatically entitle you to a refund.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Fair Trading Act 1986, or other applicable New Zealand law.
7. Your GutBrainA Account
Your GutBrainA membership is intended for your individual use.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and password.
You must not provide your account details to another person to allow them to access GutBrainA without purchasing their own membership.
If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, please contact us.
8. Personal Use Only
Your GutBrainA membership and all programme materials are provided for your personal, non-commercial use only.
Unless you have received written permission from Mangawhai Natural Health, you must not:
- Copy or reproduce GutBrainA recordings or programme materials
- Share recordings, videos, downloads or written resources with other people
- Upload GutBrainA materials to another website, platform, social media account or file-sharing service
- Sell, licence or redistribute GutBrainA materials
- Record or reproduce live GutBrainA sessions for distribution
- Use GutBrainA scripts, recordings or programme materials to create your own commercial programme, course, app or product
- Remove GutBrainA branding, copyright notices or other ownership information from programme materials
Each person wishing to participate in GutBrainA should have their own membership unless otherwise expressly agreed.
9. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the content provided through GutBrainA, including hypnotherapy recordings, scripts, written materials, videos, programme structures, graphics, worksheets, educational resources and branding, is owned by or licensed to Mangawhai Natural Health / GutBrainA.
All applicable intellectual property rights are reserved.
Purchasing a GutBrainA membership gives you permission to access and use the programme for your personal use. It does not transfer ownership or intellectual property rights to you.
10. GutBrainA Name and Branding
GutBrainA branding, programme names, logos, graphics and other identifying materials may not be used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions grants you permission to represent yourself as GutBrainA, Mangawhai Natural Health or Clare Seagrave, or as an authorised GutBrainA practitioner, representative or affiliate unless a separate written agreement exists.
11. Programme Participation
GutBrainA has been structured to encourage regular participation and repetition of Gut-Directed Hypnotherapy sessions.
For the best opportunity to benefit from the programme, members are encouraged to follow the programme instructions and recommended listening schedule.
However, individual responses vary and no particular health outcome or improvement in symptoms can be guaranteed.
12. Safe Use of Hypnotherapy Recordings
GutBrainA recordings may encourage a deeply relaxed and focused state.
Do not listen to GutBrainA hypnotherapy recordings while driving, operating machinery or undertaking any activity requiring your full attention.
Please listen in a safe environment where you can relax appropriately.

13. Medical and Health Information
GutBrainA provides health, wellbeing and educational information but does not replace individual medical diagnosis, treatment or medical care.
You should seek appropriate medical advice for persistent, unexplained, new, worsening or concerning digestive symptoms.
You should not stop prescribed medication or medical treatment based on information contained within GutBrainA without first consulting the healthcare professional responsible for your care.
14. No Guarantee of Results
Research has reported benefits from Gut-Directed Hypnotherapy for some people with IBS; however, individual responses vary.
GutBrainA does not guarantee that you will experience a particular reduction in symptoms, improvement in health or other specific result.
Testimonials or experiences shared by other GutBrainA users represent individual experiences and should not be interpreted as a guarantee that you will achieve the same results.
15. Technical Access
We aim to keep GutBrainA and its digital resources reasonably available.
Occasionally, access may be temporarily interrupted because of maintenance, software updates, internet problems, hosting issues or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If you experience an ongoing technical problem preventing you from accessing content you have paid for, please contact clare@clareseagrave.com so we can investigate.
16. Third-Party Services
GutBrainA may use third-party providers for services including website hosting, membership delivery, payments, booking systems, email communication, video hosting and other technology.
Your use of some third-party services may also be subject to that provider’s own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for interruptions or failures caused by third-party services outside our reasonable control, subject always to your rights under applicable law.
17. Suspension or Termination of Access
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to GutBrainA where there has been serious or repeated misuse of the programme, including:
- Sharing an account with other people
- Unauthorised copying or distribution of programme materials
- Attempting to resell GutBrainA content
- Using GutBrainA intellectual property without permission
- Fraudulent use of the service
- Abusive or unlawful behaviour directed towards GutBrainA, its representatives or other programme participants
Where reasonably appropriate, we will attempt to contact you before terminating access.
Nothing in this section limits your rights under applicable New Zealand consumer law.
18. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with the GutBrainA Privacy Policy.
Because GutBrainA relates to digestive health, you may choose to provide personal health information through questionnaires, evaluations, consultations or communications.
Please review our Privacy Policy for information about how personal and health information is collected, used, stored and protected.
19. Changes to GutBrainA
GutBrainA may evolve over time as we improve the programme and introduce new resources.
We may add, update or replace programme content where reasonably necessary.
We will not make changes that unfairly remove a substantial part of a paid service without considering our obligations under applicable New Zealand consumer law.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions where reasonably necessary to reflect changes to GutBrainA, our services, technology or legal requirements.
The latest version will be published on the GutBrainA website.
Where a change materially affects an existing paid membership, we will take reasonable steps to provide appropriate notice.
21. New Zealand Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
